It's a touchy subject for many people. Two factions glaring at each other calling it "right" or "wrong."
Define "benefits"?
Because I must say, I've noticed that many of my male companions are what I would call "friends with benefits." These benefits, though, are not necessarily the traditional sense of the phrase. We hold hands, give affectionate kisses. We lay in one anothers' arms while spending the evening together doing nothing in particular. We send texts just to say we were thinking of one another.
My benefits are the affectionate comforts of a relationship without the commitment.
Is this healthy? Is it dangerous? By spending my time with these companions, am I sabotaging my chances of finding one with whom I can have both the benefits AND commitment?
Most importantly, DO I WANT THAT?
...i don't know.
